Hoists, Gin Poles, Trailer Storage and Mooring

Upon reaching either the Corinthian Yacht Club or the Eastern Yacht Club and registering you will be put in contact with one of the Dock Masters. The boats can be rigged at either of the yacht clubs and there are two hoists at the Eastern and one at the Corinthian. The respective dock masters will direct you to a mooring where you may be required to raft up based upon the number of boats participating. The trailers will be stored at the end of Marblehead Neck near the causeway.

Measurement

Sails

At registration you will be provided with directions on where to get your sails measured.

Boats

Please contact Jeff Earl, JeffEarl@comcast.net well in advance in order for us to get the appropriate personnel and equipment to measure your boat if required.

Weather Information

September is probably the best month to sail in New England. The usually crowded Marblehead harbor will have plenty of moorings available for competitors, the leaves will be beginning to change, and the falls winds will be in top form. For weather information check your favorite sites for Marblehead, MA, or nearby Beverly Airport.
