Venue Information

Marblehead is considered one of the best sailing venues in North America and has hosted the Etchell World Championships, the Soling World Championships, the IOD World Championships along with many other sailing regattas. The proximity to Boston, generally moderate winds, and scenic surroundings make Marblehead an ideal venue for an international championship.

Each of the three major yacht clubs in Marblehead offer hotel rooms on the upper decks of the club. The rooms at the Corinthian, Eastern, and Boston Yacht Clubs provide beautiful views of the harbor and the advantage of enjoying the racing and festivities without having to move your car the entire week. Make your reservation early, there are only 10-15 rooms available at each club.
